Qualifications & Experience
Graham Horrell is the co-author of the Process Industries edition of the Project Engineer’s Toolkit textbook and webinar series. Graham has over 30 years’ experience managing Projects and Teams. His experience spans refining and chemical industries as well as onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities. He has held the positions of Project Engineer, Project Manager, Engineering Manager and General Manager for a number of major Operating Companies as well as Contractors and Consultants.
Graham graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology.
Graham has always had a strong focus on delivery within a critical safety culture and has promoted the development of younger employees through apprenticeships and other training programs, having started his career as an apprentice on the Steelworks in Scunthorpe in 1973.
Personal Interests
Through his involvement in Rotary International, Graham has participated in many voluntary activities including disability sports, days out for disadvantaged families, international development projects and the promotion of reading through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
